It's Curt!

Gradutating highschool is funny. Well, it’s the years (and decades) after highschool which are funny. There are highschool friends you think you’d never go a day without talking to and the folks you can see yourself drifting from. What you don’t realize is that often, it’s the people you can go a year without talking to and once you see each other, pick up just like it was yesterday. Steve Packard is one of those friends.

We hadn’t talked in a while, but decided we needed to. On top of that, a weekend away certainly seemed like quite an appealing idea, so I flew out to Boise, Idaho and rented a car to see him in Northern Idaho for the weekend. It was so great to see him and have some time with an old friend.

Also, I felt more powerful just being in the presence of his amazing long viking hair.
