Being the amazing partner I am, I solo-parented Odin and Jude while Maureen was away for the weekend for a girl’s trip. I’m not saying I was the best parent in the world (a bit too much TV), but the weekend went great. On Sunday, our friends Christian and Marissa invited us to hang out with them at the beach on the Sacramento River which turned out awesome!

Odin was skeptical of getting too close to the water at first, but after Elanor and Grey showed him how fun it could be, he jumped right in and had a blast.

We are very fortunate to be building a community of parents here.
