In the seemingly coincidental (perhaps not) tradition of doing awesome things on my birthday, my 30th was celebrated with friends at a house we rented for the weekend at Lake Tahoe.

About 10 people went up for a weekend of house-partying, hot-tubbing, river-rafting, casino-going, mountain-hiking and good-time-having.

Being the awesome girlfriend she is, Maureen orchestrated everyone to get custom T-shirts with a picture of me sleeping on the front and a hilariouly stupid dad-joke on the back.

This was taken before a tragedy occurred; we hit a bridge with one of our tubes which caused it to pop….. luckily there’s two chambers in these fellas which allowed us to barely float the rest of the way down the river.
