I’m not sure if this is a self-contradicting statement or not, but here it goes- I’m pretty good at being humble.
With that out of the way, I wanted to post about of my bigger achievements in recent times- Passing the PE exam!
My typical posts on this blog reflect most people’s social media strategy- Post as much cool stuff as possible to make your life appear just amazing. While my life is amazing, it’s important to reflect on all the hard work that makes it happen. One of my favorite quotes is “The harder I work, the luckier I get”. I think this post is a great embodiment of that idea.
I’ve been putting off signing up for the exam for years now for various reasons, ranging from not having enough time, not wanting to study, and admittedly- deep down not thinking I would pass the darn thing.
Anyways, I did end up signing up for it and what is more important to me than the passing of the test is the work i put into studying for it. This was my life, every day after work, and for about 15 hours every weekend for about 3 months before the test.
